For the 48th Fire Prevention Month, the Bureau of Fire Protection R4A CALABARZON spearheaded by the Regional Director CSupt Nimfa D Cuartel continually bid sweat in crafting campaigns towards a safe and progressive society. In line with this, the Taal Fire Station embraced the culture of involving the community in its endeavor on a fire incident free Municipality.

Having the theme “Isulong ang Kaunlaran, Sunog ay Iwasan, Kaalaman at Pag-iingat ang Kailangan”, the Taal Fire Station fronted by the Municipal Fire Marshal, Insp Elias Tominez with the active support and participation of the Local Government Unit, members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) headed by PSI Allan De Castro and Fire Prevention Officer of the Municipality of San Luis Batangas, FO2 Rachel Olipas, piloted the Fire Prevention Month Kick-Off Parade, held last March 1, 2014.

On the conduct of the motorcade, the Anos Fire Truck together with all the Taal Fire Station Personnel roves in all the vicinity of the Municipality specifically on residential areas and places of assembly giving leaflets on its citizens concerning on household fire prevention and retelling them to be vigilant and alert in case of the occurrence of fire since summer season is forthcoming.
